1. Switch

So, you have decided to make the move to Iowa Savings Bank, great news! We now just need to open an account for you. You can call or stop in and talk with a Customer Service Representative at any one of our convenient locations or you can visit us online at www.iowasavingsbank.com to learn more about our accounts and setup an account. Once your account is setup and ready to go, don’t forget to look over our products and services. Debit cards, checks, online and mobile banking, and eStatements can all help make your banking experience easier. At Iowa Savings Bank, we cannot wait for you to experience knowledgeable and caring employees who are waiting to help you with all your banking needs.   

2. Close Down Your Old Accounts

Once your account is setup, you can begin using it right away.  Please remember to keep your former account open until you have verified all outstanding checks, deposits and withdrawals have been accounted for.  We understand this can sometimes be a daunting task, so please check out our simple list below of typical deposits and withdrawals that many people automatically have setup.  Once this is done, you will need to complete this “Close Account Form” and we will take care of the rest for you.  Be sure to dispose of any old checks, ATM/Debit Cards and deposit slips associated with your former account.

  • The company handling your retirement or pension payments
