Important
Information About Opening An Account
On September 11, 2001, our lives changed forever. In an effort
to protect you and our country, the USA PATRIOT Act was signed
into law. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism
and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial
institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies
each person who opens an account.
When you open
an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth
and other information that will allow
us to identify you.
We may ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying
documents.
We proudly support all efforts to protect and maintain
the security of our customers and our country.

Retirement
Accounts
Traditional
IRAs In
addition to annual contributions, traditional IRAs can also accept
rollovers from 401k or 403b
retirement
accounts when you leave an employer or are eligible to transfer
funds. All of our IRAs have a self-direct feature and permit numerous
beneficiary designation options.
ROTH IRAs
Although
contributions are not deductible, withdrawals at retirement may
be completely tax free and more tax deferral options past age
70½ exist than for traditional IRAs.
Coverdell
Education IRAs have
a maximum annual funding of $2,000 per designated beneficiary,
a big increase from the former $500 limit. There are income limitations
for contributors ($110,000 single / $220,000 joint).
The right plan
for you depends on many personal and business factors. The descriptions
above are just highlights and not intended to be comprehensive or
to be legal advice. We recommend that you select the best plan after
consultation with your attorney or tax advisor
